Shelter in Place

UPDATED 4/11/2020: Link

Hardesty Fire Department’s storm shelter will NOT be open during severe weather threats, due to COVID-19. Please plan to “Shelter in Place” per Texas County Emergency Management recommendations.

Shelter-in-place means public shelters are not recommended at this time, but rather each individual should prepare ahead of time by designating a safe room or place that they will seek their own private shelter in. Be prepared and discuss this plan with your family ahead of the storm.
